Buy THC Drinks in North Carolina

We ship to North Carolina

San Buzi delivers to North Carolina by carrier, from Charlotte and the Triangle out to Wilmington and Asheville. Order Strawberry Lemonade, Blueberry Lemonade or a 24-can Mixed Case. Every 12 oz can carries 10mg hemp-derived Delta-9 THC plus 5mg CBG, with zero alcohol and zero calories.

As of October 12, 2026, North Carolina has no statewide age law for hemp drinks, but San Buzi sells only to adults 21 and older. North Carolina is also a state to watch. As of that date, HB 328, which would cap hemp products at 0.4mg total THC per container, has cleared the Senate and is waiting on the House, which could take it up in November 2026.

North Carolina THC drink law, in plain terms

North Carolina's current rule sits in its Controlled Substances Act. Hemp is defined by a delta-9 THC concentration of not more than 0.3%, and marijuana "does not include hemp or hemp products" (G.S. 90-87). Schedule VI also exempts THC found in products at or under 0.3% delta-9 on a dry-weight basis (G.S. 90-94). As of October 12, 2026, no law in force adds a milligram cap per container, a purchase age, or a limit on online sales and home delivery.

That could change with HB 328, "Regulate Hemp-Derived Consumables." The Senate adopted the bill's conference report 37-6 on July 2, 2026. On July 30, 2026 the House received the report and re-referred the bill to its Rules Committee. As of October 12, 2026, the official record shows no later action, and news reports said in August 2026 that the bill remained eligible for the House's November 2026 post-election sessions.

As reported, the conference report would cap finished hemp consumables at 0.4mg total THC per container and bar sales or delivery to anyone under 21. A 10mg can would be far over that cap. None of this applies unless the House adopts the report and the bill becomes law.

A federal deadline applies either way. As of October 12, 2026, a federal cap of 0.4mg total THC per container, the same figure HB 328 uses, is scheduled to take effect December 11, 2026, whether or not HB 328 passes. P.L. 119-103 delayed it from November 12, 2026.

As of October 12, 2026, most of a new federal hemp definition, including a cap of 0.4mg total THC per container, is scheduled to take effect December 11, 2026, after Congress pushed it back from November 12. It applies in every state. See our explainer on the change.

North Carolina THC drinks: common questions

Can I order THC drinks online in North Carolina?

Yes, as of October 12, 2026. No North Carolina law in force restricts online sales or home delivery of hemp-derived drinks, and San Buzi ships to North Carolina addresses for adults 21 and older.

Is there a THC limit per drink in North Carolina?

Not as of October 12, 2026. The only state threshold is the hemp definition of no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC. HB 328 would add a 0.4mg total-THC-per-container cap if it becomes law. For reference, 10mg is a full dose for many people.

Has HB 328 passed?

Not as of October 12, 2026. The Senate adopted the conference report 37-6 on July 2, 2026, but the House has not voted on it and re-referred it to its Rules Committee on July 30, 2026.

Do I need to be 21 to buy THC drinks in North Carolina?

As of October 12, 2026, no statewide purchase-age law is in force, though HB 328 would bar sales and delivery to anyone under 21. San Buzi already requires every buyer to be 21 or older.

Will the December 2026 federal change affect North Carolina orders?

It applies regardless of what happens to HB 328. As of October 12, 2026, the federal hemp definition is scheduled to exclude final products with more than 0.4mg total THC per container starting December 11, 2026, and a 10mg can is well above that. Our explainer walks through what it means.
