These can generally be sold and shipped more broadly than marijuana products, subject to individual state rules.
Marijuana-derived THC beverages come from cannabis plants that exceed that hemp threshold, and are sold exclusively through a state’s licensed cannabis dispensary system, wherever that’s legal. They generally can’t be shipped across state lines at all.

How they’re dosed

Reputable THC beverages state a specific milligram amount per can or per serving, the same way a nutrition label states calories. That number should be independently lab tested, not just self-reported by the manufacturer — look for a Certificate of Analysis (COA) from a third-party lab, not just a claim on the packaging. Individual tolerance varies widely from person to person, so the same labeled dose can feel different to different people, and effects can take time to become noticeable — there’s no universal onset time that applies to everyone.

How THC drinks compare to other formats

A THC beverage is one of several ways to consume THC, alongside gummies/edibles, vapes, and flower. What makes a drink different is mostly about the experience, not the chemistry: it’s a format built around an existing social ritual (cracking open a cold can) rather than something you take like medicine.
